Any dish made of chicken wings makes a fantastic appetizer. I have this perfect image in my mind...chilled beer, wings and me on a sofa watching some mushy chick flick or a game:) Ahhh.. dream on, right?  Well, we can change this dream to a reality, your search ends here as I am sharing this fun delicious recipe with chicken wings. Let me stop blabbering and head straight to this tangy and spicy recipe, can't wait :)
SRIRACHA SAUCE CHICKEN WINGS
Ingredients:
  • 10-12 chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2-3 pods garlic chopped
  • 4 oz tomato sauce
  • 2-3 tbsp sriracha chilli sauce
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • handful of chopped spring onion
  • 2-3 sticks of celery chopped
  • salt to taste
Preparation:
  • Clean chicken wings by washing and rinsing it a couple of times, remove excess fat if required.
  • Bring some water to a boil in a pan, add these wings in it and simmer for 5 minutes, you will see all the fat starts to float on top.
  • Take the wings out, remove excess water by placing it on a paper towel.
  • Now line up the wings on the baking sheet, spray oil and bake on 450F/225C for 30-35 min or until it gets browned and crisp, turn halfway through.
  • In the meantime, make a sauce in a pan, add oil, chopped garlic, saute for few seconds, add tomato sauce, sriracha chilli sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, salt to taste. Mix everything together.
  • Simmer the sauce for a couple of minutes more and add the baked chicken wings, now gently mix everything properly.
  • Garnish with spring onions and serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce along with some celery sticks on the side.
NjoY!!
Note: *you can use any kind of hot and spicy chilli sauce.

Nutrition Facts: In this dish, chicken wings are first boiled, in order to take away that extra fat content and then baked, so I have adopted a very healthy version of preparing this dish. Apart from that, chicken is loaded with proteins which helps to build muscles, it also helps to reduce PMS symptoms :) yay!, helps to build your bones strong, it boosts immunity etc
