I am a lively personality with many things on my mind most of the time :) Had a liking for cooking from a young age but never got an opportunity to cook much at home as I belonged to a joint family and everything was taken care of. Me and my cousins had to concentrate on academics part :) Its only after I got married that I started experimenting with food, stove, utensils etc. Cooking basically is my de-stressing time. I enjoy it immensely most of the time [
I grew up on the border between north of Karnataka and south of Maharashtra enjoying mix cuisines from various areas along with my root of coastal food. So I love both powdered spice and wet coconut based curries and dishes. Later when I started traveling across the country and other places due to my job and after getting married, I started enjoying all the international cuisine and flavors as well. There was a time when I was totally hooked on to food channels only :). I started experimenting and enjoying cooking at the same time. I felt encouraged and motivated when my family and friends enjoyed the meals that were churned out of my kitchen.

Big thank you to my husband who is my guinea pig and he encourages me to do what I love. Its absolutely therapeutic passion for me. I dont get time to upload recipes on a daily basis between full time job, being a mom and wife of course. But I will definitely try to bring in some great authentic recipes on this blog.
Now when I look at it, I think I grew up eating a balanced food diet of greens/lentils/rice/grains/meat/dairy just about everything. I will try and focus on experimenting and presenting dishes which are on a healthier side.
Another thing I love to do is styling and presenting my dishes. A clear winning picture just doubles my joy :)
Eating is all about seeing, feeling and tasting!
